Christopher Miller, L.Ac. is the owner of Portland Wellness Clinic and Miller Acupuncture. Chris is a highly regarded practitioner, teacher, speaker and mentor with over 15 years experience in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He is a graduate of Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California with a Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chris has a deep respect for Western-based medicine, but believes it fails to fully address the emotional and energetic responses that can result from traumatic injury and illness. His own experience with a serious illness compelled Chris to seek a holistic, integrated treatment plan, which he successfully found in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Chris’s additional studies include training at the prestigious Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China and at Liaoning Chinese Medical University in Shenyang, China, and the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in Nelson, British Columbia. His experience includes internships in Fertility, Sports Injuries and masterwork in Tuina, Shiatsu, and Five Element acupuncture. He maintains Acupuncture licenses in both Oregon and California and holds multiple certifications from the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the American Academy of Physical Oriental Medicine and the International Institute of Medical Qigong. In addition, Chris holds a degree in Biomedical Science from Colorado State University and has worked both as an EMT and a Wilderness First Responder.

"I came to Chris with a long standing injury and two visits did what massage, chiropractic and physical therapy couldn't.  He is great to work with and brings great insight to the process."
